What is Science Olympiad?
- An inquiry-based, hands-on program that covers earth, life, and physical science topics.
- A fun way to incorporate both engineering and technological principles in a meaningful and relevant manner.
- Provider of a variety of highly engaging activities that naturally generate interest, enthusiasm, and passion for scientific exploration.
Explorers Homeschool Academy's Elementary Science Olympiad team (grades 3-5) for homeschoolers that prepares participants for the nationally-competitive Division B middle school team. It is also a wonderful supplement to any science curriculum. Children are assigned events to prepare for, and compete against other teams for medals and trophies. Our elementary team competes in a tournament annually.
The elementary, middle school and high school teams meet Tuesdays afternoons during the school year at Bethel Temple Assembly of God in Hixson, TN.
